If you recently placed an order that hasn't shipped yet but need to change or cancel the order, you can request a shipment change or cancellation from our team.
This guide covers how to change or cancel a book order while it's still at our warehouse.
Note:
- The sooner you take the steps outlined in this guide, the more likely we'll be able to change or cancel your order before the package leaves our warehouse, saving you the time and cost of returning the books.
- Once the package leaves our warehouse, we can't make any changes to the order and you'll need to return it or exchange it (Bundle book orders only) instead.
- If you want to add books to an order that hasn't shipped yet, you can place a new book order and let us know in the comments of the second order to combine the shipments.
1. Verify Order Has Not Shipped
When your order ships, a notification email is automatically sent to the email address you provided during the order process. To verify that the order has not been shipped to you yet, take the following steps:
- Sign in to the email you provided during the checkout process through your email client (for example, Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Outlook).
- Look for an email in your inbox or junk folders from [email protected] with the subject line "Your order has been shipped!"
If you haven't received the shipping confirmation email, your package is likely still at our warehouse. Proceed with the steps in this guide.
If you have received the shipping confirmation email, your package is on its way to you and you'll need to wait until it arrives before taking any further steps. If you still don't want the books once they arrive, you can return the books or exchange them (Bundle book orders only).
2. Email Our Team
Note: Please email us from the address you placed your order with. We won't be able to process your cancellation or change if your request comes from a different address.
2.1. If Changing Order
Email our customer service team immediately to request your order change.
Your email must:
- Be sent to [email protected].
- Be sent from the email address that you included in your order.
- Use the subject line "Change Shipping Order."
- State what you would like to change in your order.
- Include the Order ID which can be found in the sales receipt sent to your email address.
2.2. If Canceling Order
Email our customer service team immediately to request your order cancellation.
Your email must:
- Be sent to [email protected].
- Be sent from the email address that you included in your order.
- Use the subject line "Cancel Shipping Order."
- Include the Order ID which can be found in the sales receipt sent to your email address.
Our team will respond to your email with the status of your request within one business day.
