We offer refunds for qualified book returns that are postmarked or processed by your carrier for shipment to our warehouse within 30 days of purchase.
This guide covers how to return books that were purchased as part of a Bundle, a set, or individually.
Note:
- To qualify for a refund, books ordered as part of a Bundle must be returned as a full set.
- We don't accept in-person exchanges at:
- Our warehouse.
- AoPS Academy campuses (unless you purchased the books in conjunction with an in-person AoPS Academy class).

- While refunds do include taxes, refunds don't include the original order's cost of shipping.
1. Review Policies
Review the relevant book return policies before proceeding with your return:
2. Verify Shipment Status
The next steps you take will depend on the status of your book shipment. There are three possible statuses:
- In your possession
- On the way to you
- At our warehouse
If the books are in your possession, proceed. If not, you'll need to cancel or change your book order before it ships.
3. Verify Eligibility
In order to qualify for a refund, the books you return must meet our criteria for returns.
4. Ship in a Timely Manner
Return shipments must be postmarked or processed by your carrier for shipment to our warehouse within 30 days of purchase.
If your books meet all other criteria for returns, but your package doesn't arrive in time or isn't postmarked in time, we won't be able to provide you with a refund.
5. Prepare Return Shipment
Note:
- Return shipping cost is the customer's responsibility.
- We don't accept partial returns of book sets that were purchased as part of a Bundle. However, we do accept partial returns of books from sets not purchased as part of a Bundle.
- Include the following with your return shipment:
- A printed copy of the packing slip that came with your original shipment.
- The books (in retail condition).
- If your book set was purchased as part of a Bundle, include the full set of books.
- You can return the books in the original box they came in or use your own box, provided that the box is suitable for shipping.
- Address the return shipment to our warehouse at the below address. This address can also be found in the sales receipt sent to your email or the packing slip in your original shipment:
6. Record Tracking Number
Keep a record of your tracking number so that you can reference it if there are any issues with the shipment's delivery.
If your return shipment qualifies for a refund, your refund will be processed within 10–15 business days of our warehouse receiving your shipment.
