If you purchased a Bundle within the past 30 days and realized that your student needs a different level of printed books, you may be eligible for an exchange.
This guide covers how to exchange the full level of printed books that you originally purchased as part of your Bundle with a different level of books.
Note:
- We only exchange books that were purchased as part of a Bundle.
- If you'd like to exchange books that were not ordered as part of a Bundle, you'll need to return the books within 30 days of purchase and place a new order.
- Return shipments must be postmarked or processed by your carrier for shipment to our warehouse within 30 days of purchase.
- We don't accept in-person exchanges at:
- Our warehouse.
- AoPS Academy campuses (unless you purchased the books in conjunction with an in-person AoPS Academy class).
- Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
1. Review Policy
Review the Bundle return policy before proceeding with your return.
2. Verify Shipment Status
The next steps you take will depend on your book shipment's status. There are three possible statuses:
- In your possession
- On the way to you
- At our warehouse
If the books aren't in your possession, you can determine their status by checking the inbox and junk mail folders of the email you provided during the checkout process for an email from [email protected] with the subject line "Your order has been shipped!" If you haven't received this email yet, that means that the shipment is still at our warehouse.
If the books are in your possession or on their way to you, proceed with the steps outlined in this guide. If they're still at our warehouse, you'll need to change your book order before it ships.
3. Verify Eligibility
Note: In order to conduct an exchange, you must return the full level set in retail condition.
Review the criteria for returning Bundle books before proceeding.
4. Determine Level
If you haven't done so already, you'll need to determine your student's level. This will ensure the new book(s) will be the right fit for them.
5. Email Our Team
Note: Please email us from the address you placed your order with. We won't be able to process your exchange if your request comes from a different address.
Email our customer service team to let us know about your plans to exchange your books.
Your email must:
- Be addressed to [email protected].
- Be sent from the email address that you placed your order with.
- Use the subject line "Exchange Bundle Books."
- Specify the level of printed books that you plan to exchange your current book set with.
- Include the Order ID which can be found in the sales receipt sent to your email address or in the packing slip from your original shipment.
6. Fill Out BA Bundle Book Exchange Form
If you qualify for a book exchange, our customer service team will reply to your email with:
- The BA Bundle Book Exchange Form which you'll need to print, fill out, and include with your return shipment.
- A Return Authorization Number.
- The date your return should be postmarked by.
Once you receive this information, fill out the BA Bundle Book Exchange Form.
7. Prepare Return Shipment
Note:
- Return shipping cost is the customer's responsibility.
- Return shipments must be postmarked or processed by your carrier for shipment to our warehouse within 30 days of purchase.
- In order to qualify for an exchange, your return shipment will need to include:
- A printed copy of the sales receipt that came with the original shipment.
- The completed BA Bundle Book Exchange Form.
- The full set of books (in retail condition).
- You can return the books in the original box they came in or use your own box, provided that the box is suitable for shipping.
- Address the return shipment to our warehouse, at the below address. This address can also be found in the sales receipt sent to your email or the packing slip from your original shipment:
8. Record Tracking Number
Keep a record of your tracking number so that you can reference it if there are any issues with the delivery of your shipment to our warehouse.
If your return shipment qualifies for an exchange, our warehouse team will process your exchange shipment. Once your order ships from our warehouse, a shipment notification email will be sent to the email address associated with your order.
