Families using Beast Academy Online (BA Online) access different areas of the platform from either their Parent or Student Accounts. For those already signed in to their Parent Account, we provide a couple of quick and simple ways to switch to their student's account without the hassle of signing out and back in with different credentials.

Note:
- Your student's account is different than your Parent Account. Learn more about the different account types.
- If you switch to your student's account to explore and play BA Online, you'll impact their progress.
- Returning to your Parent Account will require signing out of the Student Account and signing back in to your Parent Account.
You can confirm that you're signed in to your Parent Account by verifying that your email address is visible at the top right of the page.
Note: If you see Sign In at the top right of the page instead of your email address, that means that you're signed out of your Parent Account and your student can sign in directly using their credentials.
From the Parent Home page
1. Select Student
Navigate to beastacademy.com and select the student whose account you'd like to switch to.
Note:
- Students without a completed account set up or whose subscription has expired will appear red and display an exclamation point where their avatar would be. Selecting this will take you to either the Student Account setup process or the subscription reactivation process. You'll need to complete the process before the student can access BA Online.
- Selecting your own icon will take you to your Parent Reports page.
Once you've selected the student that you'd like to sign in as:
- You'll be signed out of your Parent Account and your student will be signed in to their account.
- In order to access the pages within your Parent Account after you switch, your student will need to sign out and you'll need to sign back in to your Parent Account.
From the Navigation Bar
Note: The navigation bar is accessible from any page on beastacademy.com.
1. Hover Over Play and Select Student
On the right side of the navigation bar:
- Hover over Play.
- Doing so will show you each student on your account who currently has an active subscription.
- Select the student you'd like to sign in as.
Note:
- Students whose accounts you haven't yet set up will appear gray in the drop-down.
- Selecting a student whose name appears gray will take you to the Student Account setup process. They'll need to set their account up before they can play BA Online.
Once you've selected the student that you'd like to sign in as:
- You'll be signed out of your Parent Account and your student will be signed in to their account.
- In order to access the pages within your Parent Account after you switch, your student will need to sign out and you'll need to sign back in to your Parent Account.
How to Sign Back in to Your Parent Account
For security reasons, if you want to access your Parent Account after switching to a Student Account, you'll need to sign out of the Student Account and back in to your Parent Account.
1. Hover Over Username and Select Sign Out
On the right side of the BA Online navigation bar:
- Hover over your student's username.
- Select Sign Out.
2. Select Sign in here
Once you select Sign Out, you'll be taken to the Student Sign In page. From there, select Sign in here to be taken to the Parent Sign In page.
