Families using Beast Academy Online (BA Online) access different areas of the platform from either their Parent or Student Accounts. For those already signed in to their Parent Account, we provide a quick and simple way to switch to their Student's Account without the hassle of signing out and back in with different credentials.
This guide covers how to easily switch from your Parent Account to your Student's Account.
Note:
- Your student's account is different than your Parent Account. Learn more about the different account types.
- If you switch to your Student's Account to explore and play BA Online, you'll impact their progress.
- Returning to your Parent Account will require signing out of the Student Account and signing back in to your Parent Account.
1. Go to beastacademy.com
Go to beastacademy.com.
You'll know that you're signed in to your Parent Account if you see your email address/username at the top right of the page.
Note: If you see Sign In at the top right of the page, that means that you're signed out of your Parent Account and your student can sign in directly.
2. Hover Over Play and Select Student
- Hover over Play.
- Hovering over Play will show you each student on your account who currently has an active subscription.
- Select the student you'd like to sign in as.
Note:
- Students whose accounts you haven't yet set up will appear gray in the drop-down.
- If you select a student whose name appears in gray, you'll be taken to the Student Account setup process for that student. They'll need to set their account up before they can play BA Online.
Once you've selected the student that you'd like to sign in as:
- You'll be signed out of your Parent Account and your student will be signed in to their account.
- The BA Online home screen will appear.
- You or your student won't be able to access your Parent Account pages or Parent Report pages. In order to access the pages within your Parent Account after you switch accounts, your student will need to sign out and you'll need to sign in to your Parent Account.
For security reasons, if you want to access your Parent Account after switching to a Student Account, you'll need to sign out of the Student Account and back into your Parent Account.
1. Hover Over Username and Select Sign Out
In BA Online:
- Hover over the student's username on the navigation bar.
- Select Sign Out.
2. Select Sign in here
Once you select Sign Out, you'll be taken to the Student Sign In page. On the Student Sign In page, select Sign in here to be taken to the Parent Sign In page.
