How to Change Your Student's Beast Academy Online Level

Updated on

When you sign your student up for Beast Academy Online (BA Online), you select their level. However, you can change their BA Online level at any point through your Parent Account page.

This guide covers how to change your student's level in BA Online.

Note: If you've ordered books in the past 30 days but realized that you need a different level for your student, you can exchange qualified Bundle books or return the books.

How Levels Work in BA Online

Beast Academy curriculum is divided into five levels, each roughly corresponding to a grade level. Each level has 12 chapters within it, each chapter has roughly 16–17 lessons, and each lesson has between 5–12 problems.

While a BA Online subscription provides access to all five levels, the level you select for your student is the level they'll start at in BA Online. Because you can change their level at any point, if you start your student on a level that's too easy or difficult, you can always move them forward or backward in the curriculum.

Interactions with Other Content Controls

While your student's level determines which level they'll start at in BA Online, lock schemes control how your student moves between the different levels, chapters, and lessons in BA Online. In addition to levels and lock schemes, you can manually lock and unlock specific content within BA Online.
