Bundles include a 1-year subscription to Beast Academy Online (BA Online) and a full level of printed books. Once the expiration date for your student's Bundle has passed, their BA Online subscription will be considered expired and they'll no longer have access to BA Online. If you don't need a new level of printed books but want to activate your student's BA Online access while retaining their progress history, you can convert their expired Bundle to a Monthly or Yearly Subscription.
This guide covers how to convert your student's expired Bundle to a Monthly or Yearly Subscription.
Before placing your order, ensure the following:
- Your student's Bundle is expired rather than active.
- Active Bundles can be converted to Monthly or Yearly Subscriptions, but the change will not take effect until the end of the active Bundle's 1-year subscription.
- You don't want to order a new level of printed books.
- If you want to order a new level of printed books and activate your student's expired subscription, you can activate their expired Bundle.
How Charges Are Handled in Monthly vs. Yearly Bundle Conversions
The payments for Monthly and Yearly subscriptions are handled differently than Bundles. To see the charges that apply to your Bundle conversion, refer to the table below:

Instructions
1. Access Account Page
2. Select Activate
On your Parent Account page:
- Locate the student whose subscription you'd like to activate.
- Select Activate in the student's subscription settings.
Note:
- If the button in your student's subscription settings shows Renew Bundle instead of Activate, that means that your student's subscription is still active.
- If you'd like to add another year of BA Online access to your student's subscription as well as a level of printed books, you can renew their Bundle ahead of time.
- If you'd like to continue their BA Online access, but don't need books, you can convert their active Bundle to a Monthly or Yearly subscription.
- If you have no Activate button under an inactive subscription, that likely means that you signed that student up for an AoPS Academy class that includes access to BA Online. Contact us to learn more about your options in this situation.
3. Select Subscription Type
On the Subscribe page:
- Select either Yearly or Monthly.
- Note the billing date and schedule.
- Select Continue.
4. Confirm Billing Information
On the Billing page:
- Review your Payment Method and Billing Address to ensure accuracy.
- Authorize the recurring subscription fee that will be charged to your payment method.
- Select Review.
5. Review and Select Place Order
On the Review page:
- Review your Subscription Order Summary.
- Depending on your location, sales tax may be collected.
- Review any policies shown to you.
- Select Place Order.
Once you place your order, your payment method will be charged and your student's subscription will be immediately activated, restoring their BA Online progress and access.
