If your student already has a Monthly or Yearly Subscription to Beast Academy Online (BA Online) but you'd like to order them a full level of printed books, you can upgrade their Monthly or Yearly Subscription to a Bundle. By doing so, your student's progress and history will be saved and accessible within their upgraded subscription.
This guide covers how to upgrade your student's subscription type from a Monthly or Yearly Subscription to a Bundle.
Before placing your order, ensure the following:
- You'd like to upgrade to a Bundle (1-year subscription to BA Online + one full level of printed books)
- If you don't need a new level of printed books, you can keep your student on their current subscription type, or, if they have a Monthly Subscription, upgrade their Monthly Subscription to a Yearly Subscription
- If upgrading from a Yearly Subscription to a Bundle, that your Yearly Subscription has been purchased less than 30 days ago
- If it's been more than 30 days, you'll need to change your subscription to a Bundle instead of upgrading it
- You won't need to cancel the subscription for a refund
- Subscriptions that have been upgraded can't be canceled for a refund. All sales are final at the time of the transaction
You can upgrade your student's Monthly Subscription to a Bundle at any time. When you upgrade a Monthly Subscription to a Bundle:
- Your most recent payment for their subscription will be applied towards the cost of their Bundle
- Their subscription's expiration date will be extended one year past your last payment date
- Our warehouse will begin to process the shipment of your new level of printed books
You can only upgrade your student's Yearly Subscription to a Bundle within 30 days of your original purchase date. After the 30 days have passed, you'll need to change their subscription type to a Bundle instead of upgrading it. When you upgrade a student's subscription from a Yearly Subscription to a Bundle:
- Your most recent payment for their subscription will be applied towards the cost of their Bundle
- Their subscription's expiration date will stay the same
- Our warehouse will begin to process the shipment of your new level of printed books
1. Access Parent Account Page
2. Select Upgrade Subscription
On your Parent Account page:
- Locate the student whose subscription you'd like to upgrade
- Select Upgrade Subscription in the student's subscription settings
Note: If your student's Yearly Subscription was purchased more than 30 days ago, you'll have the Change Subscription option instead of Upgrade Subscription.
3. Select Subscription Type
On the Subscribe page:
- Select Bundle
- Specify the Book Level set you'd like to order as part of your Bundle
- Note the expiration date
- Select Continue
Tip: Your most recent payment for this subscription will be applied towards the cost of your Bundle.
4. Review Billing Information
On the Billing page:
- Review your Payment Method and Billing Address to ensure accuracy
- Select Continue
5. Select Shipping Method
On the Shipping page:
- Select your Shipping Method
- Confirm your Shipping Address
- Select Review
Note: U.S. Economy Shipping is free for Bundles and shipments that are qualified to be combined with Bundles. (Free shipping not available to U.S. overseas territories or international shipments.)
6. Review and Place Order
On the Review page:
- Review your Subscription Order Summary
- Depending on your location, sales tax may be collected
- Review any policies shown to you
- Select Place Order
Once you place your order:
- Your payment method will be charged
- A sales receipt will be sent to the email associated with your Parent Account
- Our warehouse team will review and process your book order for shipment
- The subscription expiration date will:
- Be extended one year past your last payment date (if upgrading from a Monthly Subscription)
- Remain the same (if upgrading from a Yearly Subscription)
Note: If upgrading more than one Student Subscription, you’ll need to follow the above steps to upgrade each subscription individually.
